Listening practices

A dance with Not-Knowing

This podcast offers a guided practice aiming at body awareness. It is taken from the approach of Social Presencing Theater. While being given 10 minutes time to arrive from lying to standing up the practice invites you to pay close attention to what movement emerges out of the body - rather than following a mental concept. In this way it is supporting to dance with the Not-knowing.

Wellness inventory

What is the quality of your personal wellness? This guided Wellness Inventory will introduce you to the six dimensions of wellness and give you the chance to explore them. It will help you to develop an awareness of the areas in which you are thriving as well as your areas for growth.

You can download and print this document: it will make the inventory a bit more visual, leading you to create your personal wellness wheel, but it is not strictly necessary.

A Theory U based exercise: The Stakeholder Interview
Designed for the initial phase of the U-journey!
Have a look at the description of the exercise that is basically an interview with a certain attitude and mindset. The prompt for the interview for this our journey could be: Ask a person who knows you well (friend, partner, family) about what they are perceiving your response to the current situation specifically, and in general to what is happening in the world.

Activity: guided journaling
This exercise of guided journaling can bridge us with another phase of our common journey, prototyping. It is best done in a pair. So meet up with your buddy from the course online or someone else who can also meet offline. One is reading out the questions, the other person is journaling. Then you can switch roles. More detailed instructions you can find here.
